If you cannot find the Q&A you are looking for below, please contact us directly and we will be more than happy to help answer your query.
We are based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk (United Kingdom). However, we also provide our services all across the UK and many other parts of the world – including the Netherlands, Australia, United States, Brazil, Trinidad, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai and West Africa.
We are active H&S specialists within the global energy sector (covering onshore and offshore oil, gas and wind energy), as well as the manufacturing, construction, warehousing, engineering, ship-building, decommissioning and even aerospace industries.
We have implemented several workplace controls and safety measures to help keep all candidates and site visitors safe from COVID-19, including but not limited to: reducing the candidates per course to a maximum of 2, ensuring that 2 metre distancing is always in place between all site visitors and staff, regular cleaning of all surfaces and equipment before and after use by candidates, conducting all training in a well ventilated area, ensuring that staff and candidates wash their hands frequently with soap and water, as well as using PPE as and where required.
Yes, we can assess and redesign your current policies, practices and safety management systems to reduce the risk of COVID-19 in your workplace.
1) How to safely operate heavy plant equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks, MEWPs (cherry pickers and scissor lifts), cranes (overhead gantry, dock side, pedestal mounted and heavy lift), telehandlers (industrial, rough terrain and 360 degree rotational), excavators, front loading shovels, diggers (360 and 180), pedestrian trucks (counterbalance, pallet, reach, straddle and stacker), rider pallet and rider stacker trucks, skid steers and side loaders.
2) We also run complimentary courses such as lifting and slinging, rigging and slinging and HGV banksman training.
3) We offer emergency response and first aid training, all the way through to office safety courses (e.g. manual handling), fire safety courses (e.g. fire extinguisher familiarisation) and electrical safety courses (e.g. high voltage awareness).
In most cases we can. Because of our diverse database of experienced instructors, we often run bespoke courses for clients upon request. Feel free to give us a call or drop us an email to check if we can help with your training needs.
We assess, build and help implement safety management systems. We can also conduct both generic and specific risk assessments for your organisation, carry out COSHH risk assessments, perform workplace audits and safety inspections, as well as review, design and install company H&S policies, procedures and method statements.
We mostly help our clients to find and recruit HSEQ advisors, managers and onshore / offshore construction personnel, although our extensive database and partnerships also allow us to fill many other roles across many other sectors as well.
For safety training, our prices vary as some courses naturally take longer to complete than others and specialist machinery may need to be hired in. Discounts are available for larger bookings, so it always makes sense to bulk book where possible.
Similarly, for our safety management and recruitment services, these are costed according to project size and scope. For further information or a tailored quote, please contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
In most cases, we can mobilise personnel within 24 – 72 hours worldwide (depending on the type of training you are looking for, the role you are aiming to fill and the location of training).
Yes, we hold RTITB accreditation for many of our courses and are constantly adding other awarding bodies to our portfolio to take into account country specific requirements and changing industry needs. We also offer various bespoke courses that are supported by our own in-house accreditation.
Yes, for many of our courses we offer 5 tiers – novice, experienced operator, refresher, conversion and instructor.
This depends on the specific course, course tier and the number of candidates who will be present. Because of these factors, it is best to contact us directly about course durations.
Both. We have excellent training facilities and plenty of space at our premises, however we can also conduct training at your premises provided it has the necessary space and machinery / equipment.
